Terms of Service
Last updated: February 19, 2025
1. The service
Insynia ("we", "us") provides Insynia, a platform for managed coding agents that integrate with code hosting and related services (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), and include AI-assisted workflows, project features, integrated ticketing, report generation, and documentation features (collectively, the "Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or data derived from it in a manner that competes with or undermines the Service.
- Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of any connected third-party services (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or acceptable use.
5. Intellectual property and license
We own the Insynia platform, including its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of your code and data. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your code and data as necessary to provide the Service (including AI analysis, reports, and documentation) as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Connecting your repositories and using integrations (e.g. GitHub) is at your own risk. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Insynia and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at info@insynia.ai. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. We may provide additional notice (e.g. by email or in-product) for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
